The nib of the pen is made up of 14k gold. The nib and the clip are coated with rhodium. The body of the pen is a little transparent so that you can see the level of ink. The pen has a "Slip and Seal" mechanism. Refillable only with platinum ink cartridges and converter. It comes with an instruction manual. One converter and cartridge are included.
